Privacy Policy

Tidal Cleaning (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

• Information you give us when you request a quote, book a walkthrough, claim a new customer offer, use our website chat or contact us: your name, business name, email, phone number, the address of the space to be cleaned, city, service details (such as business type, square footage and preferred frequency) and any message you write.
• Website analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, and how you arrived). Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, and we do not use analytics data to identify you.
• Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical signals from your browser to confirm a real person is submitting the form.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address and request time for security and reliability.

Cookies

We keep tracking to a minimum. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish visits, and Cloudflare Turnstile may use cookies or similar storage strictly for spam prevention. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and the site will keep working.

How we use your information

• To respond to your request, schedule your walkthrough and prepare your quote
• To deliver and manage cleaning services if you become a client
• To improve our website and services using aggregate analytics
• To protect our website and forms from spam and abuse

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run this website: our website host (Vercel), our email delivery provider (Resend), Google (Analytics) and Cloudflare (Turnstile). Some of these providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local laws. Each provider is bound to protect your information and use it only to provide their service to us.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and, for clients, for the length of our business relationship and any legal record-keeping period. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections across the entire site.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to its use, by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.
